jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted October 13, 2013 Poor family. And i seriously dislike these "psychics." Nothing like profiting off the pain of the mourning. 8 evilmrt, roboturner, NeverForgetMac25 and 5 others reacted to this
Son of a Wing 1,644 Report post Posted October 13, 2013 If it brings closure for the family than I guess it serves a purpose. I will withhold my opinion of "psychics". 2 Wingsfan72 and Hey man nice shot! reacted to this
Red Crazy 201 Report post Posted October 13, 2013 The family clearly needs to get some grief counseling. 2 St. Michael (the Red Wing) and roboturner reacted to this
13dangledangle 965 Report post Posted October 13, 2013 If the Salei family can find some sort of peace with this then kudos. I see no harm in trying but the tv show part is weird to me.
Guest Playmaker Report post Posted October 13, 2013 If it helps them to cope, who's to say if its right or wrong. Didn't read the link, but I'm hoping because it's a TV show, the family won't have to pay for the psychic and are in fact getting compensated for appearing. Until you've been through something that traumatic, I don't think you can say what you would do. 1 Dabura reacted to this
kipwinger 8,524 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Well if Ruslan's post-period and post-game interviews were any indication, I seriously doubt his spirit will have anything to say to some unknown psychic. That guy REALLY hated giving interviews.
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 I'm sure that if I died and my family was able to contact me when I was a spirit, the only thing I would talk about is how much I wanted a cigar. Not what death was like, what afterlife is like, how is everyone, etc. Definitely just random cravings.
roboturner 562 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 I really hate to see people taken advantage of when they are most vulnerable. I watched about two minutes of Long Island Medium once. She asks this guy (40-50 years old) if he's ever had a near death experience. Now how many people are gonna be 40-50 years old, look back on their life and say they've never had a near death experience??? Probably close to none. Then the guy proceeds to TELL HER THAT IT HAD TO DO WITH FIRE!!!! What does she say? "Ohh I was gonna say...cuz I felt really warm...must have been a fire!!" and people think this $H*T is real??? 2 Hockeymom1960 and thegerkin reacted to this

LOL Reminds me of that episode of Home Movies where McGuirk is pretending to be a blind psychic. "Does anyone here know someone who died?...." "C'mon, nobody?! Look, its statistically impossible that nobody here knows someone who died!" (I'm paraphrasing) "Alright who wants me to channel some dead celebrities?" "Hey pilgrim, what are you doing? I miss doing movies, and I'm john Wayne." I liked on south park when john edwards won ****** of the universe.
