This is an easy game to have a let down in, I really hope the boys come to play.

I think everyone underestimates the blowjobs but it should be a win tonight. Monster gets the start again, and everyone will be tired after yesterday's game, however the early start yesterday may give them enough rest, either way I expect it to be a close one. Enough of these back to back travelling games already, this isn't a shortened season, did someone not get the memo?

I feel a lot better about Monster now.

I'd be surprised if anyone in the West really underestimates the Jackets after that run last season. And they really had our number.

I think we win this one, though.

Wings will win, if they continue to support J-Gus in goal.

It is no longer Columbus Day - that was yesterday.  It's Red Wings Day!!  Go, Wings!!!   :w00t:

Wonder if they bring up Mrazek to back up Monster or if they stay with Howie.

And they really had our number.

More specifically: 0-4-1 against them last season (unless I'm mistaken).

I like Mrazek.  I do not like the idea of an injured Jimmy.  I feel better about Monster after yesterday.  He had a good game and the team really played well in front of him.  If they can play like that today, they will win.  If they leave him hanging like they do with Jimmy sometimes, they will probably not win.

Go Wings.  Your fate is in your hands.

I'm really enjoying the addition of Glendening.  He makes that 4th line come alive, and considering that Miller and Tootoo are two of my faves, that makes me really happy.

I will not see this game since I will be at work, (as usual during the week) so all of you nice folks who were quite put upon because you had to work yesterday with nary a radio nor computer at your disposal can feel better since life is back to normal.

Money on the board:  Current total: $6

$1 for a goal by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster.  An additional $5 for a series-clinching goal scored by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster. $5 if the other team fails to score against a current Wing goalie after whom I have named a hamster.

Hamsters I have had:  (current Wings highlighted)

Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

Niklas Matthew Daniel Robert

Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

Jordin Damien Gustav James

Wings end a great day in Detroit.  Tigers win 5-3 and the Wings win 3-2 in OT on goals from Weiss, Abby and Franzen.  Great time of year GO WINGS!!!!

Monster can start b2b just fine. He made Jimmy do it how many times last season?
