Varlamov has been arrested for 2nd degree Kidnapping and 3rd degree assault.

Turned him self in, and it was someone in or around his family.

Just bizarre

God I hate it, hockeyplayers are normally the classiest teamsport athletes but I guess some bad apples have to be there :( Hopefully this criminal idiot will never see the NHL ice again.

Trying to understand this comment, but I just can't. Why are we calling this guy a "criminal idiot" when we don't even know if he's guilty yet? He may or may not have done something, but all we know so far is he turned himself in. If I was accused of something and the cops were looking for me, I too would turn myself in just so we can get everything sorted out, NOT because it means I'm guilty.

Turning yourself in and getting charged with second degree kidnapping and domnestic violence is not something to take lightly. Usually when you turn yourself in most people are making sure that their lawyer is there.

but whatever I'll rephrase it:

if he is indeed guilty, I hope this THEN criminal idiot will never see the ice again

This article came out 2 hours before this was reported....

"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."
Vince Lombardi

When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”

It just sounds like you've tried and convicted him already.

Talking about Heatley? Plead to vehicular homicide and only got probation... no jail time.  Had to pay the $25K for the investigation.

Strange that you bring that up, since it was just over 10 years ago.

Different cases and circumstances, so I stick with  the former posting.
