It's unbelievable what difference a guy like Helmer can make in the lineup. Just came home and liking what I see that's what happens when you start Larbarbera rookie coach mistake?

LaBarbera didn't start. Bachman did, but went out with a groin injury.  The Kindl goal to make it 3-0 is the first Labarbera gave up.

...in addition to getting Helm back we just need to:
1. Bring up Nyquist
2. Figure out how to trade Franzen in a package deal for a top pair defenseman,
3. Hope Babcock will grow a set and realize the dirt that Cleary has on him (blackmail) is worth being made public. (It's the only theory that made sense)

I think we're good after that. What'd I forget?

Smith just can't get his s*** together

I can't believe I used to think he'd be a top pairing guy some day

he's playing himself out of the lineup

if Big E were healthy, Smith should be the one scratched, not Lashoff

Mrazek is so cool and calm.

Lucky he had that visor, that could have been bad for Lashoff.

I just can't help but think he's being showcased, specifically to Edmonton.

Wow, good thing he has a visor. That could've been really ugly.

Maybe. But Gusty's injured, and you don't wanna play a guy (Howard) back-to-back. So, either way, he had to start.

Isn't it counter productive to have Samuelson playing with Helm ?

Howard is accustomed to playing tons of games even back to backs. Unless of course they are serious this season about resting him.

How did that not go in?
