The jaw? Actually, wasn't it Sammy who nailed him?

No, Sammy has Cleary (when Cleary was valuable) and Datysuk (completely ruining our season) in his trophy cabinet.

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

Nope. It was Cleary who Logo Hunter nailed in the jaw.

Edit: Nev beat me to it . I forgot he injured Datsyuk, too. Was that an ankle or was it a wrist injury for Pavs?

Tatar!!!!!!!!

esteef

Two goals in two games, playing on the third line. Not about to call him the second coming of Fedorov, but I think if he gets confident enough and really gets going, and then you add Nyquist and a healthy Helm - how sick is that bottom six?

Wrist, Pav tripped over him in the crease when Sammy was a Canuck.  We were playing our best hockey since 2008, then Howie got injured too, when they both came back they weren't the same and we were sucktacular in the playoffs against Nashville.

Huh, for some reason I remember it as Sammy who broke Eaves' jaw. Who did?

2 points, but only 1 goal.

Oh, did they ultimately give Andy credit? It looked pretty clear on the replays that Tats didn't touch it. Either way, two goals in two games sounds more impressive than a goal and an assist. Who cares about facts.

HELM is Back and i am stoked about it.

Not expecting anything to great out of him tonight, just hoping to get a glimpse of that speed we use to see.

I really hope the DetroitRedWings are going in in with a more focused attitude. No victory in this league comes easy so if they underestimate the Oilers things could get downhill fast.

Glenn Healy mentions Alfredsson's dive in the game against the Canucks. I have to admit, it was pretty bad.

Bure has really aged.
