The guy was never as good as some wanted him to be at his best and he utterly fell apart both opportunities he had to make something happen in the playoffs. He had a good thing going as a backup, but like many guys, he wanted more, couldn't live with a backup role, and he learned the hard way that it takes a lot more than he ever had to be a playoff goalie.
