MasterPavel 115 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 Jimmy should try to stay in the crease since that is where the goal is. Here is to 5 more years! 1 themcityblues reacted to this

GMRwings1983 8,793 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 He cuts down the angle so much, he's out of position for the rebounds hes not controlling. Yeah, don't know why he'd try to cut down the angle while there's a Washington player crashing the far side of the net. Any kind of loose puck or rebound, and you leave the entire net open for that man.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 Here's what will happen in OT: The Wings will dominate for 3 minutes. Crazy good chances and pressure. Then, an intercepted pass will bounce out behind the last defender (probably Quincey) and a breakway will ensue. The goal scorer for Washington will be the guy who has never played in the Joe before, probably on his only shift of the overtime. So it is written. 3 themcityblues, CaliforniaWingsFan and WingsAlways reacted to this
GoWings! 179 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) Are they waiting for 10 straight losses before sitting this goalie? I'm sorry but he has to have, by far, the most blown leads this year as a goalie in the NHL. I don't care how many Jimmy fans are here you simply have to find ways to avoid these consistent collapses. He looks like a teenage roller hockey goalie in a street rink. Way too far out of the net every single goal. Wings aren't playing bad. We need some big saves in clutch situations. This is the first time I've seen a post of yours I unquestionably agree with.I don't understand it, you have alex em effin ovechkin bearing down on you, and you're outside of the crease cutting down the angle on a complementary top six piece. I think he has the potential to be a top 5 goalie, but he's been the opposite of clutch on this home stand. And just because i agree with you doesn't mean I want Bert to paralyze somebody, troll. Ha.
