Bad goaltending and defensive mistakes did them in tonight. Probably should try holding leads in regulation since they are beyond awful in OT and the shootout. This team is pathetic right now. Also, there'll be some kid playing his first game, and he'll be eighteen years old and he literally won't have any eyes, but he'll score his first AND SECOND career NHL goals - the second one being an OT dagger. (Franzen will score five goals, then go eighteen games without a point.) He is given another 2 goal lead to work with and again he blows it. And then he lets in another 5 hole breakaway goal in the shootout. He is not the reason we lost, but he is not playing as good as he needs to be and has lost way too many games in a row. Let him sit and watch, change things up and put Monster in. That was so pathetic..... if I didn't know better, I might think that Holland hates the shootout so much that he is demanding that they suck as much as possible at it to somehow help prove his point.
