They are playing tonight at 4 pacific on sportsnet for those of you living in Canada.  Mantha should be featured heavily, possibly playing with Drouin.  Really excited to see what Mantha can do, haven't had a chance to watch him play yet.

He reminds me of Franzen in a good way.  His work rate could be a little higher, but he's not as big a floater as I imagined based on the criticisms about him at the draft.(could be the fact that it's a big game)  Good passer and not afraid to pull the trigger.

Just scored a nice goal picking the puck up in his feet and making a deke to his backhand.

1 goal, 1 assist.  GWG.  Looked good on the PP.  And he almost had a Blake Wheeler goal ripping down the wing and powering to the front of the net leaning on a guy.  Overall, very impressed.

I like this team.

honestly a bit of mule,  but with the star flashes that make
Perry the player he is with the puck on his stick. Going to be an exiting prospect.

I don't think Mantha will turn out to be a Corry Perry (if so, wow) but if the can be a solid top 6 contributor I'll be more than happy with that. Perry is an allstar, with an unreal scoring touch.

I can't believe we got this kid.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!" - Kierkegaard

Niccccccce. Now when Weiss gets bought out and Zetterberg has to center the 2nd line they can both have Franzines on their wings! (Good thing negs are gone lol)

Mantha kinda reminded me of a left handed Blake Wheeler, which excites me as Wheeler is one of my favorite players.

I like this team.

Manthas year in the Q so far: 23 gp, 24 g, 54 pts.

Can't wait to see what he can do with the Griffins after his season is over

NHL had a pretty lengthy article about him

I can't believe we got this kid.

23 games, 24 goals, 30 assists, 54 points.  I'm damn glad we got this kid.  And then in this game a goal and an assist against the best Russian players.

I like this team.
