Somebody post a video of Cleary falling down with nobody around him

This might be getting a little heated. Just know I don't hate any of you guys.

That doesn't mean that I respect ideas & opinions. Some ideas & opinions are ridiculous.

In fact, if you confront my ideas & opinions, that will lead to a discussion. (We're on a discussion board after all. Don't forget that!)

Cleary is infuriating but "hate" is too strong.
I love all the Red Wings...I just don't like them all, all the time.

I think I was just provided a new avatar by you kind Sir!

"I play hockey, but I am not very good.  Can someone please tell me what it would take to sign with the Wings ? I can use a million or two."  ~ arag

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

I don't know what you guys are talking about.  Everybody around here is constantly pining for someone to stand up to those "bullying" our guys.  Given how we've played this season, is there any bigger bully that the opposition goal?  Cleary is a hero for standing up to the one thing that strikes terror into the 2013-14 Detroit Red Wings.

FWIW

Malik seems to think Cleary will eventually get put on waivers.

http://kuklaskorner....bertuzzi-vs.-bs

For the record, if Daniel Cleary were to be waived--and it certainly seems like he's going to draw the short straw at some point, sucky as it may be for him, and if he is waived, here's how his $ would break down:

.@will_crist I believe the Cleary salary relief would be $ (1.75 m) - ($550K + $375K) = $825,000.

1 goal in 27 games. I don't think even the most ardent Cleary hater would have predicted that.

What do you know, if Cleary gets waived he was the answer to all our problems after all, because he frees up enough space to make us cap compliant with DeKeyser and Nyquist both in the lineup. ;)

You know things have been really bad when Cleary is getting outplayed by Samuelsson. And Samuelsson has been his normal truly useless self.

At this point I just feel really bad for the guy, no hard feelings against him. I don't think it's a matter of trying harder, wanting it more, etc. His body is simply done with this sport called ice hockey. It's had enough, and it wants out.

He is dragging this team all the way down to 3 points behind the Bruins in a division most of  you said would kick the living crap out of the Red Wings.

Man it is tough to suck so bad that in arguably the toughest division in Hockey the Red Wings are all of three points out of first with 7 OT or shoot out losses!
