Quincey fires a shot well wide and then a pass to no one for icing.

I say we have the team sit out the next game, forfeit that game (we'd be losing the 2 pts anyway), and have this team go for group psych therapy to get these mental issues worked out.  Maybe then they can get back to playing hockey instead of slugging around like empty shells.

God, it's like being down a man perpetually when Quincey's out there...

That Tatar shot across the goal mouth was perfect if Andersson was in a slightly better position.  Or maybe if he was Zetterberg or Nyquist.

Even considering that Tatar isn't a perfect well-rounded player yet, you gotta love how he and Nyquist just automatically go for the net, whether with their bodies, their passes or their shots.  When in doubt, put it on net.  I think they're the only players on the team that do that.

LIFT THE PUCK ON MILLER. Miller always has down low covered from post to post

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Man, the 2nd line should be Tatar-Weiss-Alfredsson. Other then Z's line, we're not getting a whole lot of dangerous chances. Too much ice for Sammy and Dano too.

LGW after 1 loss is irrational, after a few in a row it becomes quite comical, 22 playoff appearances in a row and 4 cups in that time and still going strong. Relaxxxxx !!

Ken and Mick mentioned early in the period that Buffalo has only had a lead after 20 min ONCE this entire season...

Until today, that is.

*sigh*

It's honestly not even enjoyable watching this team play anymore. Makes me sick to my stomach.

2nd time all year the Sabres with a lead after the first period. Haha unbelievable. I think we all know the end result of this game. How long can Ozzie continue to say we are doing good things?

Tatar was far and away our best player that period, and he's on the 4th line with slow and slower.

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

if the sabres are the worst team in the nhl whats that make the wings?

i remember the wings use to be creative now they just fire shots from horrible angles.

lines suck too

id like to think things would be better with datsyuk and dekeyser back but doesnt look that way. no matter how many games they play how many practices they have i dont see them improving much

Generally, I agree that any loss meets with utter doomsday reactions around here.  But if you haven't noticed, we're losing an awful lot of games.

Nyquist - Z - Franzen

Tatar - Weiss - Alfredsson

Miller - Helm - Abby

Cleary - Andersson - Sammy (Sit this line as much as possible)

This is maximizing the potential. We can't afford passengers on each line.

Alfie just stated that the team is missing the killerinstinct. Can't argue with that.

I agree with you, but even that lineup makes me want to puke.

They're missing a lot more than that. That's being extremely generous.

1 Win 9 loses is not something to be happy about. Then throw in the fact we are losing to Buffalo the worst team in the league.

We have to be able to come back... right ?
