Refs a little too involved already. Just let that go both ways.

Time to open it up. I'm surprised that the Bruin went off as well.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Smith has great offensive instincts. Since returning, he has really showed that more and that was a huge part of his game coming up.

Would love to see him get some PP time. None of the other d-men can get anything on net.

Smitty, whatever you're doing lately, keep it up. Loving it. Finally seems to be turning the corner.

God Smith looks good when he gets up close to the net, doesn't he?  Maybe he should be moved to forward.  I haven't seen a Wing slide across the goal-mouth like that in a while.

God DAMN! I know the PP is in our favor but the refs need to swallow their whistles. Call the flagrant s***, leave the game alone. There is NO fricking consistency. What's a penalty changes not only from game to game, but from period to period.

Smith with a good drive to the net and he draws a penalty. After he stood up to Neil against the Sens, it seemed like he is starting to play physically again. Wasn't he suspended a couple of preseasons ago due to a shot to the head on a Blackhawk? (If I recall correctly, the guy put his head down just before the hit). Maybe he was gunshy for a bit due to the suspension?

Second PP unit is horrid. They can't even figure out entry into the zone.
