Wow. That's actually quite special. As a father of a one-year-old girl and a three-year-old girl myself,..heavy sigh...wow. Awesome.
Kira 451 Report post Posted November 29, 2013 I honestly think it's rather sweet, and a nice way to pay tribute to his friend.
dobbles 252 Report post Posted November 29, 2013 Just in case others missed it, this article was posted on the subject yesterday: http://redwings.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=693200 There are few things that will melt a father’s heart like the smile of his little girl. Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson is no exception. “I didn’t know I could like her that much and just the feelings developed so fast for something, that’s incredible, it’s a good feeling,” the new father said of his five-week old daughter. Ally 448 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 I was upset that he had a baby because it put a damper on my plans to one day meet and marry and have little Swedish babies with him. But this is a really nice tribute and kind of melts my heart. 1 MabusIncarnate reacted to this
T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 And also, Liv means Life in swedish. One ended and another starts. Now that my days are numbered as I head down the home stretch of Mortality Lane, I've come to realize exactly that: Life is neither a race nor an endurance event, but rather a relay event. 5 thegerkin, hockey&beer, Zoidberg#40 and 2 others reacted to this

T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 Thanks so much you guys. My family and I have the good fortune to know my approximate timeline. We can live each day accordingly, and plan for the time when I am not around anymore. Stefan Liv and his family and friends had no such luxury. He was stolen from them in a moments notice without warning. 3 BottleOfSmoke, thegerkin and hooon reacted to this
