Well I always thought it's going to be Zetterberg, Hedin or if he plays Alfie.

Sweden has a really balanced line up, they may lack the starpower of Canada but I think their goaltending and balanced lineup could surprise even Canada.

He wasn't invited because he was not sure what he was doing yet. There is no doubt that Alfie will be playing in the Olympics now and as much as I love Hank, the Sweden Captaincy should go to Alfie...

Well as I said the Swedish article confirms its Zetterberg. For some reason I can't link it here.. (Probly admin block on non-English sources). We'll find out if its true soon enough I guess.

It's going to be Zetterberg with Alfie and H. Sedin as A:s and we are definitely sending Kronwall, Z, Franzén, Alfie and Ericsson.

For PR reasons alone it will be either OV Rafulov or homecoming hero Kovalchuk although Pasha extremely deserves it.

You are probably right but like you said Pavel deserves it more. Also if Russia chooses Radulov they deserve to lose even though we all know they will anyway

I don't see how Radulov would be a candidate considering he had his captaincy in the KHL stripped away earlier this season.

Alfie get's it but would love to see Z wear the C obviously. Either one I'm cool with.

Having said that I don't see Sweden being too good this Olympic tournament.
