So, basically, my fellow Swede Andersson is our first center. What can I say? Go Ander go!

PS As long as we have Tatar and Nyquist we won't suck big time. God (Kenny) please give us Jurco!

Sweet. This dude was brought here for one reason, to punch people in the head - every other thing that he can do, other Wings can do better. I like that we have a head-puncher. The league has other, better head-punchers, but this one is ours. Better than nothing. Good work, Kenny!

I don't even know what to say anymore. They have one amazing week of wins. Now a plague of injuries. The Grand Rapids Griffins aren't gonna have anyone left on their roster by the time the Wings are done with them

i really wanna see us call up callahan, ferraro or sheahan since there all out of waiver options next year , we gotta see what they can do in the nhl rather than calling up emmerton

if we send down emmerton now he'll have to go through waivers again right guys?? id do it and bring up sheahan whos like 6'2 i believe

Without the use of LTIR or STIR for guys not playing, we just don't have the room. Emmerton is the only guy we can use cap wise. We can all thank Holland for that.

What have we done to piss off the hockey Gods this much?

Man this team can not catch a break this year.

Hurry back Helm

Ansar Khan @AnsarKhanMLive 1h

Ken Holland said Helm's MRI showed fluid, which he said means either sprain or strain in shoulder. Will be re-evaluated Monday.

NOOOOOOOOO! So basically down 3 world-class centermen who were on pace for career years. Didn't we sign some high-profile FA to play center? Maybe I'm wrong...

I think you mean 2 world class center-man. I know we all love Helm but lets be serious he is a good NHL player but nowhere near world class.

Bets on who gets injured next game?

Based on the skillset the hockey gods are targeting, Alfie or Kronwall is definitely next

Take your pick Alfie ,nyqist, franzen, Tatar or kronwall. Seems like dominos best to worst injuries meaning cleary kindl and Sammy Weiss will be the last 4 hurt.

Knock on wood.

Perhaps the "big bad east" is taking its tole on the boys. I gotta say the wings have been getting hammered lately since the sens beat us that way and other teams seem to be following this tactic.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?
