I feel like we would have won if Nyquist-Franzen-Tatar played together all game. They created more chances together in the 3rd than the whole team did in the first 2 periods. We just needed a little more offense to win this. Thomas didn't look sharp and Florida's offense didn't do much even though they had a lot of shots.

Oh well, hopefully we're starting to turn the corner injury-wise, with Datsyuk coming back tuesday and hopefully Helm shortly after and then Dekeyser come christmas. Can't expect to win a lot with this kind of lineup.

Send a message, regardless of current injuries make Weiss a healthy scratch against Tampa. He's capable of being a 60 point player, I really don't know what his problem is but a wake up call outside of burying him on the 4th line is much needed. Give Nyquist, Tatar, and the kids that are playing like they care top minutes until the big guns return. They are putting up the offense, reward them.

Where did I say anything about moving the puck? The Wings got skated into the ground, turned the puck over a ton and generated hardly anything offensively. Sure, injuries affect that, but this issue runs way beyond just tonight at home. The Red Wings consistently have extremely poor efforts at the Joe.

You gotta do far better than that showing against the Florida Panthers.
