That's a fact. Still, tough to lose to such a s***ty team. Especially with the rest of the teams in the division doing well tonight.

Yeah man I hear you. Losses like this make me feel s***ty inside, but the team just came off a back to back and I imagine they feel even worse about this game.

Once again, Weiss is invisible.

Anyone else starting to think that paying Fil $5 million was a bad idea?

na fil would of been the same here , i just think we shouldnt of signed neither and bring in the youth movement ... im just hoping were finally gonna get rid of some of the garbage (samuelsson, cleary, bertuzzi) and bring in sheahan etc

I feel bad for all the people that have spent their hard earned money to go to the Joe this year.

I also feel bad for myself for spending my hard earned money to watch the atrocity of a game out here in Phoenix, but whatever.

Not even a point from the effing *Panthers* ugh

Send a message, regardless of current injuries make Weiss a healthy scratch against Tampa. He's capable of being a 60 point player, I really don't know what his problem is but a wake up call outside of burying him on the 4th line is much needed. Give Nyquist, Tatar, and the kids that are playing like they care top minutes until the big guns return. They are putting up the offense, reward them.

How come whenever we play someone who played the night before, that team always has energy and it never seems to affect them?

Could it be that the Wings play a soft, non-forechecking style of hockey that's easy to play against?

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Time for a trade. There are probably 5 players that could be bundled for some draft picks. Of course Detroit would have to pay part of their salaries to help convince the other team to take them.

You're acting surprised that a team missing its top three puck-moving forwards is having trouble moving the puck.

Where did I say anything about moving the puck? The Wings got skated into the ground, turned the puck over a ton and generated hardly anything offensively. Sure, injuries affect that, but this issue runs way beyond just tonight at home. The Red Wings consistently have extremely poor efforts at the Joe.

You gotta do far better than that showing against the Florida Panthers.

we played the florida panthers and allowed 37 shots , even without dats zett and helm that should never happen

You're just now starting to think that?

I'd rather have Kyle Calder back right about now.

Even without Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Helm and DeKeyser, we still have a lot more talent than the Panthers do. Injuries are not an excuse. We just got out-played at home by an inferior team. That's all there is to it.

Which players and for which picks?

If I'm an opposing GM, I'd only want youngsters like Nyquist, Tatar or DeKeyser.  Maybe Smith if I thought he had potential.  I don't see us trading the first several players I named.

And no one wants our crap.

Well if there's any positive I can make out of this it's that if Howard was in tonight we might've gotten blown out of the Joe the way he's played this year. I really wish we could win the games we are supposed to. I don't want to hear the injury excuses. We are a better team than Florida with the guys that suited up tonight and the only friggin guy who scored tonight was Cleary? Pavs please hurry back.

I don't see a reason to not start Monster again next time out. He played exceptionally tonight even with the loss. He faced a ton of shots and kept them in the game all night. Roll the hot hand while it's still burning.

Should have been an easy two points.  Mule was the best player out there.  That in and of itself says a lot, and it is not good.

Man did the team look bad in that 3rd period. Weiss is brutal and Sammy just flat out doesn't give a s***.

Oh, you know, the usual.

Watching a hockey game, sobbing uncontrollably, getting drunk to numb the pain, snarking at strangers on a message board.

You?
