It's a bad sign that my gut reaction was "that's good". Gus is playing lights-out and deserves more consistent starts. We need to start getting points before we slip any further unfortunately a Gus-Mrazek tandem looks like our best bet. Howard needs to rest and reset mentally.

All in all that's not the worst thing that could happen. It will give us a chance to see what Gus can really do as a starter without creating too much of a goalie controversy. Mrazek should get a start or two in that span as well. Howard will get a chance to clear his head a bit and hopefully comes back looking like the Howard from seasons past.

Gus certainly has a good win column but im not exactly confident when he or Jimmy is in net right now.

Our 3rd period let downs and failure to stomp on the throats of teams we are beating leaves any Wings netminder vulnerable. Team needs to step up the 'compete level' secure some 2pt games in Howies absence

It's because they are all so OLD.

oh, wait... not they're not. We do seem to have more than our share of injuries. Kudos to those who bought WC jerseys of players who may not be there for reasons out of anyone's control. It still supports the team, and the player. :yahoo:

I wish Jimmy a speedy recovery, so he can come back and show everyone he's still the man. I love Monster -- he's doing what he's supposed to do - play like a champ as the back up, when he's needed.
