Alfredsson, Bertuzzi, Datsyuk, DeKeyser, Eaves, Ericsson, Franzen, Gustavsson, Helm, Howard, Kronwall, Smith, Tootoo, Weiss, Zetterberg. All have been injured this season, some more than once, and it's only mid-December.

Awesome.

It's because they are all so OLD.

oh, wait... not they're not.  We do seem to have more than our share of injuries.  Kudos to those who bought WC jerseys of players who may not be there for reasons out of anyone's control.  It still supports the team, and the player.  :yahoo:

I wish Jimmy a speedy recovery, so he can come back and show everyone he's still the man.  I love Monster --  he's doing what he's supposed to do - play like a champ as the back up, when he's needed.

Someone please perform some ancient Indian ritual and direct these injuries Detroit is suffering to Chicago or one of Detroit's Eastern foes.

Poor Howie! He's having a rough go this year. Good chance for Gusto & Mrazek to state their cases for being here too though.....Howard needs a helmet change & badly. I'm not normally superstitious but those nipples screamed oh no from the start...
....Ladies and Gentlemen Jimmy "F%$*ing" Howard.
