Right now, the talent level is at an all time low. There is very little chance of the wings doing well this season. This is more than a slump. I feel bad for Alfredson in that in his final year, he has to endure one embarrassment after another. Our coach has not adapted to to what he has. His players need to play in a way that complements their limited skills. The way he has it setup, these players can't do it.

His supporting cast is lacking now obviously, but Pavel looks completely off since he came back. Without Z and Helm too, no surprise the Red Wings can't score goals.

That meaningless thing only matters when we're playing a back to back. I know we played last night, but we were at home and didn't have to travel.
