They look a little slow and sluggish compared to the small speedy fins, there's no real intensity.

This is far from over though Canada is great at making late comebacks.

Sutter needs to pull back on the boys a bit here and calm them the f*** down.

Nice break for Canada on a stupid undisciplined play by the Finland player.  Seems to be the theme of the tournament.

This offseason will determine whether Ken Holland should still be employed with the Wings organization.

Please put Smith on the Power Play!

Don't worry Canada, you know you'll get your "chances" in the 3rd.

If they can make the Finns take penalties like they are and sort out their crap PP, then we'll talk comeback.  Not impressed so far with effort or skill level this game.

Still angry about the New Years Eve game?

Problem is: drouin is a huge part of the pp and he is stupidly sitting on his ass for running his mouth.

Agreed.  The boys need to simplify the PP without him though.  Shoot shoot shoot and more shots.  Quit dicking around.

I'm not impressed either, Canada are looking downright bad so far.

Please pay attention.

The misconduct is automatic because of the "head shot" penalty.

Pouliot and Dumba have had poor games by their standards and it really shows. We cant give up the puck on the point on the pp like we have been. Pouliot has been beat time and again tonight. Seems like in international play the refs like to let the first roughing/incident go and then take the retaliator which is bad for a Canada team that likes to stick up for itself. They have missed loads of hooks/trips throughout the tourny but always go overboard on roughing etc. which must be policy.

Please pay attention.

True and he almost got another 10 i guess. That puts even more hate on the refs i guess. It was hardly a headshot to start with considering the kid ducked like child.

I think he's more referring to Drouin running his mouth more than playing hockey.  He was doing that long before his misconduct.

I've thought Dumba has been crap all tournament.  He's undisciplined with 6 minors so far in the tournament and he has terrible D-zone coverage.  Around the net, he's very weak.  Pouliot has been a relative non factor today.  Hopefully he has a big 3rd.

Canada has no poise on the point. No sustained pressure due to bobbled pucks and giveaways killing them.

That's why Drouin isn't on Tampa Bay this season and is back in junior.

Finland is investing 100% of energy in the D zone to win puck battles, block shots, and clear the zone and its working. Canada must work much harder to even make a dent.
