Unlike the game vs Canada, American fans have a case to be pissed about officiating there

And they've been trading penalties since.  American's PP looks terrible though.  Buffalo is gonna love the play from Zadorov.  Talk about a nasty one-timer!

You don't want to get a stick in the mouth, don't taunt the other teams bench after an empty net goal skating close enough to get the lumber.

I wonder if the IIHF will suspend the Russian trainer who was 'taunting' the US bench.

Quite disappointing to say the least for team USA. After starting off so strong.

When they do a bad job, absolutely.  Though you should spend more time complaining about the USA's atrocious powerplay cause they had chances as well.  That 2nd call on the 5 on 3 for delay of game was a horrific call though.

Complaining about officiating again? I'd say a trend has developed.

Can we call him up for shootouts? lol

Mantha could easily have a hat trick by now if not for the Swiss goalie

The Swiss played a very good game, their program has come a long way in recent years. The game was closer than the score would indicate.

Two disappointments for Canada thus far in the tournament are Horvat and Rychel.

Ekblad, Pouliot and Mantha have been playing very well.

Looking good for Sweden so far, 2-0 after one period against Slovakia.

Yeah, it wouldn't be news to suggest that Sweden is the team to beat in this tourney. So far they've looked like they won't be beaten by anyone but themselves.

I was telling my buddy the same thing all week about those 2.  I would have rather seen Max Domi in place of one of them.  They both have been doing a lot of the little things right, but neither can score worth a damn.  They both often miss the net by a lot.  I've been very very impressed with Sam Reinhart as well as the guys you mentioned.  McKinnon needs more ice time to get going aside from the PP.

Reinhart was good early, not so good in the last few games. Lazar, for instance has been better on the wing.

If it comes down to Reinhart or Ekblad as the No.1 pick in the coming draft ... I'd take Ekblad by a country mile.

MacKinnon needs more ice time ... from Patrick Roy, in Colorado.

Don't say that!!! us swedes are usually much better as underdogs than when we have to carry the pressure of being the favourite.

 I meant McDavid.  I lost my mind mid sentence.  Too much going on in the world of hockey the past couple weeks.

McDavid is freaking 16 years old for a 16 old he has been amazing, the hype surrounding this kid is already through the roof. This kid is something special and whoever drafts him, will have a future franchise center.
