WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted December 27, 2013 Hey there, I'm heading to Montreal for a weekend trip in a few weeks. Anyone have suggestions for activities, must see places. Also if you know of good places to eat. Thanks!
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted December 27, 2013 I've never been there, but my girlfriend has, and she said that the food there (not just one restaurant in particular, but everywhere she ate) was consistently some of the best food she's ever had. I don't know if she happened to get lucky and just happened to pick the 10 best restaurants in Montreal, or that they legit have amazing food, but if you go to yelp or something similar online and find what's nearby, I'm under the impression you won't be disappointed. 1 WizardOfOz30 reacted to this
cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted December 29, 2013 Bar-B Barn. Schwartz's Deli: there is a reason why it's called "Montreal Smoke Meat". Don't forget the bagels: Fairmount or St-Viateur. 2 WizardOfOz30 and F.Michael reacted to this
wings4thecup06 504 Report post Posted January 8, 2014 If you like a bit of a walk and want an awesome view of the entire city, take a trek to the top of park Mount-royal. Literally gives you a spectacular view over the entire city, and you can see everything. I spent a little bit of time also at la Centre Bell, especially outside, where there is a tremendous shrine for the history of the Canadiens and their great players. As a Wings fan, it was still an incredible sight to see all that history in one place 1 WizardOfOz30 reacted to this
