With Z, Helm and Abby expected back saturday, Who are the odd men out and where is Babs going to put them

I think Z will end up with bert and Dats.

Helm will go back with Alfie.

Abby?

Eves will be put on waivers and I don't know what young guns will be

I figure Eaves and either Glendening or Sheahan will return to GR. They may want to keep Jurco up, and they'll need to keep the other one of Glendening or Sheahan to center the 4th line. But I also can't see Babcock scratching his precious Cleary, so Jurco may be GR-bound also.

If only Jurco could stay and Bert and Cleary go. That would be a lineup...

Z-Dats-Alfie

Jurco-Helm-Nyquist

Abdelkader-Andersson-Tatar

Miller-Sheahan-Glendening

But I assume they stay and Jurco+Eaves+Sheahan go.

Substitute Tootoo with Glendening and I'd be happy. And I'd still take Bertuzzi over Andersson.

Apparently these are the lines they are practicing with right now

#RedWings are practicing with the following lines: 44-13-26; 8-40-11; 14-43-18; and 20-41-71.

Correction on the #RedWings third line: should read Eaves-Andersson-Nyquist. Helm was working in but probably questionable for Saturday.

#redwings' D pairings this morning: 55-65; 2-23; 27-4

Per Ken Holland. Tatar went to Slovakia for Christmas. He will fly to Florida today to meet up with team.

lol smartass. i know this but it couldnt have been on the play in the tampa bay game where gudas barely rubbed his face.

That's what most are speculating, it was that hit. It may have been something else, or a combination of hits, but they may never say.

Eric Lindros got a concussion without even getting hit in the head... all it takes is the brain bouncing off the inside of the skull.
