Tatar stepped up, Nyquist stepped up, Marchenko was solid and didn't look out of place, Jimmy's playing like last year Jimmy, Cleary got his 7th point and Miller and Andersson got goals in the same game. Ok, thanks. Though, I don't need an app to avoid basketball. You do if you ever watch highlights on TSN. Raptors.....barf. Even though Cleary gets a lot of hate around here, we're gonna need him playing at his best come April. Players like him are difference makers (in a bottom 6 role, of course). A lot of good signs all around these past couple games. But I was thinking about it, and even 5 years ago when everyone loved him, he was still kind of a slow starter. Nothing like this season of course. But it always seemed to be the second half of the season when he would begin to really heat up and consistently put up points. Edit: Forgot to mention Quincey here as well. He and Smith have been playing very solid when not paired together.
