Its funny cause Babs always preaches being a student of the game and always having to change as a coach, not from where I am standing Babs lol. Same s*** PP unit time and time again. MORE TATS PLEASE.

I would give anything for Babcock to be fired

Yep, because it's SUPER EASY to win without five of your top-six forwards against the top team in the league.

Ok Kenny, we don't need to hear about their record undefeated record, over and over and over again.

But they have an undefeated record record where they recorded 57 home wins in regulation its a real regulation record of undefeated recording recorded

RECORD UNDEFEATED

Good effort given the circumstances and a disappointing outcome. 2-2 on this road trip is pretty solid missing so many key players.

Still pissed about Babs ice time for certain players. Tatar can't play 11 minutes.

Where did you get this statistic? Tatar ended the game with 15 minutes of ice time.

We weren't very good when healthy

Yep, that stretch of five wins in seven games while everyone was healthy didn't actually happen.

Tatar had 12 at the time. He now has 14.

Does it matter that Alfredsson, Helm, Datsyuk, Franzen, Weiss, and Ericsson are all out?

Our guys are always out. This team is physically fragile. We can use this excuse every year.

Point is, this was a winnable game. They played well against one of the best teams in the league, but the powerplay let them down. The Ducks weren't that impressive tonight.

Tatar should have had way more icetime than Cleary. And Sammy shouldn't be on the ice at the end.

Trying to decide which is more accurate....

In Detroit, PP stands for 1) Piss Poor or 2) Pathetic Play.

Or maybe it's just all four together. Piss Poor Pathetic Play.

That's not to say that there weren't good things to take away from this game. But, man....

When I saw Samuelsson out there in the last minute I was laughing. Wow. That is some clueless coaching.

Overall we played a good game though. Just too obvious we lacked firepower. When every line gets dragged down by an anchor or two it's going to be hard to score consistently. Right from the start it had 1-goal game written all over it. We had a couple of chances but in the 3rd we were too tired to make a real push.

Shame for Mrazek, he played well and deserved some support. Powerplay was a joke.

We need players to return. And when they do, the right guys should leave the lineup. Looking at you Sammy, Bertuzzi and Cleary.

Losing momentum every time you go on the PP is bad coaching. Going 0-23 and not changing anything is bad coaching. Having your most effective player get 10 minutes of ice time is bad coaching

Having almost all of your scorers out is not bad coaching. And claiming that a player got ten minutes on the ice when he in fact got fifteen is bad fandom.

FSD showed him at a little over ten before he took the final shift.

FSD was incorrect. Yahoo, TSN and NHL.com all have him at 15:01.

What? Sammy has 3 points in 24 games and is a -4. He's OBVIOUSLY the best choice as the extra attacker.

Fair enough, just going off what I saw. Still thought this was a poorly coached game by Babs. Edited by GoWings1905

Fair enough. FSD misled all of us.

But was FSD also incorrect about Sammy being on the ice at the end of the game?
