Shutout in back to back games. Helm should take his time getting back 4 weeks just isn't enough time for a tweaked groin

Helm has barely played in two seasons. Not enough rest after an injury isnt a problem. The problem is only having one true NHL scorer in the lineup right now.

Back to back 1-0 games. WOW. This whole season just NOTHING going the Wings way. It's unreal. So damn frustrating.

Get Sheahan in front of the net instead of Tuzzi.

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

It's official: the Red Wings have absolutely no luck.

You create your own luck. Rangers outshot and had the better of the scoring chances. They earned there lucky bounce.

I do not even remember the last time Detroit gave up nearly 50 shots on goal. It certainly is a different era. It is like the bizzaro Detroit Red Wings out there. Mediocre all the way around (except Jimmy tonight). I am really starting to think it is time for a shakeup in management from GM to Head Coach, especially if they are disqualified from the Stanley Cup playoffs. The complacency is really disturbing. Night after night we hear the same excuses yet see the same results. This is everything but Detroit Red Wings hockey. Since when did Atlanta Thrashers style hockey become acceptable all of a sudden?

Our injuries have riddled us useless and sinking lower in the standings.

Ah damn. Good game overall. That was a dog fight. I gotta hand it to the refs - they kept the flow going nicely - wish more games were officiated like that.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Losing ground with no reinforcements in sight. Not good for the Wings, not good at all. The positive is Howard is playing better, but until we get bodies back we're just not good enough to win right now.

Well. Good luck on this home stand. I expect them to lose the next 3. Prove me wrong Wings.

You're right... the Red Wings didn't put out any effort deserving of luck in the past two games whatsoever.

I'm not even mad. Could have easily won again, just like in Anaheim.

The calendar is moving along, though. Much more of a hole and the playoffs may not happen. Somebody get healthy -- I'm so sick of hearing "the injured players are close." They have been claiming that for nearly a month.

Yup...Helm, one of our fiercest competitors who has had a nasty string of unfortunate injuries is "content" sitting out.  Give your head a shake.

Goodnight LGW, this is getting retarded.  After the olympic break, our team will be better, and Helm will be ready to go.
