Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Markov's shadow is out there…wow he's fallen from grace. Slow motion man.. I keep looking at the clock and it doesn't move and the other team always scores... Hope things change tonight! Need a 4th goal on a stinky bounce. One of those goals that deflates a team badly. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Everything Helm has touched tonight has turned into a turnover, he's still rusty, but not a great night for him.
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Not me. Poor in the D zone, a complete D-bag in a bad way and he's gonna want probably 8 mil next year. Babs would set him straight. I've beaten this...horse...to death, but we really, really need a high-scoring puck-moving offensive defenseman who can QB a PP.

Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Agreed no need to have guys with an NBA, soccerlike attitude on a team thats trying to retool on the fly and loaded with classy guys. Personally I'm also not a fan of all the flashy offensive minded defenseman if they are Niedermayer Lidström like sure but otherwise I'd take guys like Pietrangelo, Suter or Keith Seabrook over any of them (maybe Weber being the exception). Having said that this game is boring, nice that the Wings are leading but given both are original 6 teams there should be way more energy Pietrangelo has been my favourite non-Wings Dman since his rookie season. I like your whole list, a lot. As Subban goes between the legs down 2 goals. No care in the world about getting a W, just looking flashy. What a clown. Babs would set him straight. I've beaten this...horse...to death, but we really, really need a high-scoring puck-moving offensive defenseman who can QB a PP. I'll keep Kronwall thanks. 1 frankgrimes reacted to this

Kris Letang - average as an defender but a great PP QB and not known to be a troublemaker or flatout douchebag

Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Kris Letang - average as an defender but a great PP QB and not known to be a troublemaker or flatout douchebag He's not that great in the D-zone either. He cross-checks as much as Quincey and hacks like Subban. Suter would have been nice, but that ship sailed. A guy like him or Pietrangelo that play a complete game would be perfect. Seabrook would be an amazing fit here too. I'll keep Kronwall over Letang as well. He's got 35 points in 50 games as stated already in this GDT. That's #1 Dman points. Fully agreed Pietrangelo and Suter have been my non-Wings favourite for quite some time, both are excellent and don't give a s*** about looking flashy, they are just getting the job done in some impressive fashion. To be fair, I think even a clown would care more about his teammates than this wannabe defender. 1 Z Winged Dangler reacted to this
