He's RFA this season in the KHL

Ah.
I was under the impression his two year deal was through the 2014-2015 season.

Agreed.
Have you seen any other talk on him coming over?
I've searched a few times and haven't found a thing.

rumor of Salavet Yulaev Ufa putting in an offer to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg for his services. I get the feeling this might be to see if the Redwings are

really interested in him. From what i've seen of him he is worth a gamble on a 1 year contract, solid 2 way player who has represented Russia this year

and looks like making the worlds roster too.

ps, yes that is him in my profile pic #98

"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop
"Putting on the foil coach" Jeff Hanson
"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
"Make sure they don't leave the bench!" Reggie Dunlop.

So was Emmerton (in the NHL) and he's leaving... maybe a swap there? Haha... don't go after our guys if you want to hold your guy to an RFA contract?

His rights? Does that mean he's not locked up yet?

People get way too caught up on these guys.  Fedorille Brunnerstromov is just another guy who has torn up Europe and has a lot to learn about what it takes to be more than a role player in the NHL.

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle... Ogie Ogilthorpe!

Any updates on this guy? I still can't figure out if he's locked up through 2014-15 in Russia what with the Kazan trade
