I keep hearing/reading that Ehrhoff might go for a 1st and a prospect and a young roster defenseman with upside, or any two of those. So, hey, maybe an Ehrhoff-Stewart package isn't totally out of the question for us.

I'd stay away for ehroff he's a 3-4 guy and he's locked up for another long 7 yrs even though his salary drops .... Rather go for Myers , I think Babcock would bring back the old Myers ppl saw when he first started

Erhoff is a good player with a bad contract. No on Myers. He is failing fast because he is so tall and uncoordinated. Not sure if he will ever "get it back".

I don't have the capability to copy and paste on my work computer but he actually said that Kelser to Detroit makes sencse, send a package of Weiss, Sheahan, Jurco, Tatar and a couple of picks to Vancouver...

He doesn't mean all of those players... he is just listing some players that could be used to make the deal. More and more insiders are starting to see this as a possibility, which I think will help Detroit big time if it is for a fair price.

Not sure we can move Weiss even if we wanted too/someone else wanted him. he does have some NMC/NTC protection. Not sure if it is full limited etc..... I would be happy to have Kesler. But it has to be a reasonable trade. 3 for 1 is fine, but not tatar, nyquist, and jurco. Not for Kesler. ovie maybe.....

Ehroff is a good #3-4 guy he's not a 1st pairing dman .....and I wouldnt wannabe handcuffed for 5-7 yrs with his contract when we got guys like ouellet sproul backman marchenko with loads of upside in 1-2 yrs and not having a 4 mill cap for 7 yrs

Unfortunately we're stuck with Weiss at least for now .... Just gotta hope he wakes the f up ..... But I didn't like the fact that he refused to go to Grand Rapids for 1 game to get back in game shape ....he's the type of player that fits the wings .... Can't see him lasting too much longer here

Ehrhoff is definitely not a #1. I wanted the Wings to sign him when he was a free agent, but not for that contract. I don't think Buffalo will move him anyway, they already paid him over $20 mil of the $40 mil total his contract is for. $10 mil in year one, $8 mil in year 2, $4 mil the next few years.

Not saying I'd be against Myers at all. I think our D as is 2 years from now would be quite fantastic. They are just young and inexperienced. Myers doesn't solve that problem. Erhoff would help.

That's a bit generous on the height, but I get where you're coming from. Having Myers would be great. Not disputing it what so ever. But we'd still need to fit another vet in somewhere. And there is also no guarantee Myers ever comes back to what he was in his rookie season.

Myers is listed as 6-8. Yes the everyone is listed taller and heavier than they really are. but that is his listed height. he is RHed which is also very much a need. But at 5.5 million per year and needs work.....not sure I would go for it. Maybe on a more competitive team.....
