Screw the nucks leave that pile in Vancouver let it stink there nobody but edler would provide what we really need.... I can't believe kh blessed Weiss for 5 f***in years, looking at his contract made me really angry, I think he's past his prime and way overrated, good reliable 3rd liner but for almost 5 mill better off w.out him

I don't think Ott will trade michalek, I would love to take him maybe as much as a vanek, he has an epic shot but was better a few years ago before his knee got messed up (I think knee)

God damnit read:

McLaren is someone to keep guys like Cowen, Neil honest I highly doubt Neil would running around like he does against us with a guy like McLaren in the lineup. Does McLaren provide a lot? No but he can be had for almost nothing and doesn't cost anything, Weiss is paid to be a valuable second line or very very good third line center so far he hasn't been that. Sadly, I think Burke will pick him up and give the Flames a very dangerous punch McGrattan, McLaren and when he is healthy again Westgarth, so I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

McLaren costs you a roster spot and can't play hockey ... much the same as every other punch drunk dinosaur you've wanted the Wings to sign.

Who took the mickey out of Burrows this year?

Before making it to the NHL, Burrows also enjoyed a prolific ball hockey career, competing in national and international tournaments in the summers.[4]In 2005, he was named the International Ball Hockey Player of the Year. He has also been inducted into the Canadian and International Ball Hockey Halls of Fame.

Better than trade youth and a 1 rounder for another stopgap but whatever.

Looking at all these rumors Ehrhoff seems to be making the most sense although I would prefer Myers.

So Pav is out Tuesday and Weiss had a setback. Without our three top centers. Man, I hate thinking about selling the farm for someone but I feel like we might be more in on Kesler now.

I'd do Helm, Tatar, 1st for Kesler.

Kindl, one of Oullet/Sproul/Jensen, pick for Erhoff.

IF we could make it to the playoffs and have Pav and Z back we could go...

Z/Pav/Kesler

Nyquist/Weiss/Franzen

Jurco/Sheahan/Alfie

Miller/Glendening/Abby

Kronwall/Erhoff

Big E/Dekeyser

Smith/Lashoff

Tatar, Helm and a first for Kesler ? Gillian takes that and starts running but yeah it will be around the asking price that's why i don't want him. I would do the Ehrhoff trade

I would take Gillis down from Tatar to Juro. I think Tatar is too good of a player to trade away. Not only does he possess a lot of talent, but he is full of energy and he competes shift in and shift out.

Helm, Juro, a 1st or something around those lines to get Keser and I would be happy,

As for Erhoff, he has an absolute rocket. If the Wings get him, our Powerplay will become much more deadly. Not only that, he is good at moving the puck. At this rate, there are a ton of rumours, which makes me very excited for Wednesday. I am not saying Kenny will do something, but I just feel that he realizes that something has to be done.

Why is everyone so eager to trade Helm? He is exactly the kind of player the Wings need playing in the bottom six when/if most of the lineup is healthy. Trading a guy like Helm for temporary help up the middle just leaves the team vulnerable on the PK and creates a hole for the 3rd and 4th lines. I think he remains untouchable.

With Z, Weiss and Pav out, if we expect to make the playoffs we need help up front as well as the back end. If Kenny sits on his hands this year, with cap space and assets aplenty, we could miss the dance. You can't go into games with your top 3 centers Andersson, Helm, Sheahan. Yes the injuries have been insane, react to those and make a positive move. Youth is great, but we have a ton of prospects and we all know which ones are the untouchables.

29 is past his prime? 50+ points a year playing against the other team's top line is a 3rd line player?

I'd trade Tatar or Nyquist before Jurco. He's big, skilled, and isn't afraid to hit. I like Tatar and Nyquist, but trading one of them for a good player, especially a forward with size who can actually play hockey, would help the team.

Nobody is questioning Helm's value, but Sheahan is here to stay, they're going to re-sign Glenny as well as already have Andersson, Weiss, Pav and Z. Andy is not going to bring you anything of value in return, so if you want someone that can upgrade this team, Helm is the most valuable tradable asset you have. Look at Anaheim, they traded Ryan and got players that fit better and they are at the top of the league...you gotta give to get.

Ya I'm sure glendening will eventually score his first goal 200 games from now ... Way better off having sheahan and helm center the bottom 2 lines .... Trading helm is just ludicrous ,thank god holland would never do it

Love Tatar but out of the sheahan nyquist jurco he's the one id trade

If canucks would consider adding weiss under the premise he can rebound there , seeing as he's locked up for 4 more yrs and is a 2nd line center

"Maybe"

Weiss + Tatar for kesler ?

Trade a 3rd and a Ferraro ? For mark Stuart?

I know a lot of you want ehroff but that 7yrs is way too much ..... I know pierre McGuire is *** for Crosby but he even said today how he found that 7yr term a problem and it won't be as easy to get rid of him

sheahan has already proven he's capable of a 3rd line center role. he's out of waiver options next year so he'll probably be here unless he is traded. he also brings some size that this team needs up front.

helm isn't good enough to be a 2nd line center, and he's too expensive to be a 4th line center. he also has back issues to take into consideration.

hence, he's expendable.

I"m not sure having a single back injury is the same as having back issues. Zetterberg has back issues, Bertuzzi has back issues. Helm had a back injury.
