trade Q to Edmonton for Ryan Smythe...

I'd rather put Q on forward than trade for that over the hill POS Ryan Smyth.  Like stated numerous times, Ryan Smyth = Danny Cleary.

Ryan Smyth is worse than clear at this point. I'd trade Q to them for a pick though - no need for aging piles of flaming garbage coming back.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Dom, is English your second language? I am asking that seriously and not as a smart ass. Because what I wrote was not even close to what your reaction was.

Then go back and read your proposal: Nyquist and Ouellet for Grabner... I don't think there's nothing much to add.

Personally I'd like to add at D, and maybe to the front office.

Grab Ehrhoff from Buffalo and add RichDG and Degra55 as special advisors to the GM?

Can we give them to the Pens instead?

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle... Ogie Ogilthorpe!

This

Kenny NEEDS to upgrade our D... We have enough forwards, let the kids play.

Did Murray even mention Erhoff ? The only players from Buffalo seem to be Ott, Miller and Moulson other than that I haven't read anything about him being available.

At this point I don't even care who we get as long as it's a top2 pairing defenseman.

Erhoff has like 7 more years on his contract. Seems like the wings type of defensemen but buffalo would have to eat some salary

We really should have gotten Bouwmeester. Flames probably wanted Cleary though

I really don't think we're gonna be making any moves. But if we do, it better be a defenseman. It's pretty obvious that's our biggest overall weakness by far.

Doughty for Almquist. If they want Q they would need to throw in Kopitar as well lol.

So much this. So many were against him when he was being shopped, but man has he turned his career around once he got out of Calgary.

I'm not a big fan of Bouwmeester but he's a huge upgrade over Q or Kindl or whoever we have on our second pairing right now.

I hope this olympic tournament gave Babcock a taste of what it's like to coach a team with actual capable defenders...

He didn't turn his career around.  He's just on a MUCH better team and so his numbers are better.  Bouwmeester's pretty good, but I think A LOT of people would be disappointed the minute they realized we were paying 6.8 million dollars for him to essentially be a defensive defenseman.

I wasn't against Bouwmeester, I was against that contract.

Which would have only been until the end of this season. He was since locked up for 5.4 mil per going forward.
