Nyquist and Tatar are really carrying this team of late. Thank God. Where would we be if Tatar and Nyquist had turned into busts like Brunner and Brunnstrom? Let's just take a second to really appreciate how we lucked out that they are legit players in their rookie years.

It'd be pretty funny if they turn out to be every bit as good as the first generation Euro Twins.

The only thing that maybe slightly takes away from Nike's performance tonight is the possibility that he's pushing this hard because he wants that spot on Team Sweden.

I like to believe that it has more to do with that he's finally lost the jitters. He's the counterpart on this team to Tatar as far as our young guys go. Both have had some ups and downs this year and they're both really comfortable in the NHL now. So other teams better look the f*** out cause we have 2 dynamic duos on this team now and that's not counting Sheahan and Jurco who are getting really comfy here.

Some of our problems are hard to solve, but at least we now have reasons to keep watching these games. Nyquist, Jurco, Sheahan and Tatar give me hope. Both for this season and for the future. Soooo close for Jurco at the end.

Can we play 20 solid minutes now? Not give them freebie goals like that 4th one? Because if so we have a chance.

And YES, Nyquist has to go to Sochi.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was mostly a timing/rhythm/pace issue. When he was cold, everything he was doing was just a half-second or half-an-inch off, i.e. he had to re-adjust to the NHL game after having adjusted to the AHL game.
