Vancouver: 3 Shots on Goal in the third period, great shutdown by the Wings to hold that lead. I knew Lack was a real solid goaltender, but man did he have a great game.

Hoping the dizzy spell for Gustavsson isn't too serious.

I think it is a shared shutout, but Howie gets the win b/c he was in net when the winning goal was scored

I believe neither are credited with the shutout, Howard gets the W for playing more minutes. Correct me if i'm wrong someone but I think that's how this works.

That's what I was thinking, but I dunno.

That might be it.

I think it's like baseball and the pitchers, Howard I believe was in goal for the winning goal so he gets the win. Neither gets a shutout.

"A shut-out shared between two goaltenders on the same team is credited to neither - the shut-out is only credited as a team shut-out."

Also confirmed, the goaltender on the ice during the GWG is the one credited with the W/L.

I would've gotten away with it if you hadn't POINTED IT OUT TO EVERYONE.

Can someone photoshop Jimmy and Gus together like those dorky werewolf twins from teen wolf?  We'll give that one the shutout.

I like this team.

Good win. Would be great if we could at least split on the road this weekend. Never thought I'd say this but go Sharks and go Ducks!

gdts usually are more fun when we're winning the whole game, there are tumbleweed keslers, jokinen shows up, and we don't blow the lead somewhere in between all that :)

This team is 1000x more fun to watch now than it was a few months ago. Jurco, Sheahan, Tatar... I LOVE this line. It's seriously off-the-charts incredible and you can tell Babock loves it too. 15-16 minutes for those guys.

And while Nyquist had about 10 great scoring chances that he didn't convert on, the top line is also fantastic. Zetterberg may be playing some of the best hockey in his career, he looks inspired.

Eddie who? Great big win for the boys but bet all the other East teams win too.

Ottawa and Jersey lost, though they picked up points. Anyway it's too soon to worry about other teams. If we take care of business in our games we will be fine. Would be great if we could go into the Olympic break with a winning streak and a playoff spot.
