half our team is playing in the Olympics...
And the other half in Grand Rapids...lol
"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."
When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”

When ~ half the roster is going to the olympics it's not like a real break. Especially with the bigger ice = more miles
Thank you so much perfect human being #5

Helm getting rest, datsyuk hopefully getting his legs back in another situation less important (to us), Weiss going through his rehab assignment, Howard (hopefully) finding his form on a larger stage, plus the confidence that comes from representing your country.
As long as there isn't any major injuries during the tournament, it could be fruitful.
It just seems high risk/high reward,
(The higher risk being the obvious) pavel, and Z's back.
Good call. This could be the turning point for him this season. We can hope, anyhow.
