27 goals puts him into top 30 goal snorers, tied with Hossa, one behind Toews and Parise, two behind Kane, etc.of course he's got ten and twenty fewer games than the others mentioned.

At the start of the season one of my friends asked me if he should take Nyquist in his fantasy draft and I said "Definitely, the kid is going to kill it. Mark my words."
My friend did not listen. My friend is last in his hockey pool. I am satisfied.

We need a gif of Goose beating Chara and blasting one past Rask for the game winner tonight. This kid is something else amazing wow! I love his attitude and demeanour just so unselfish

It was my birthday two Saturdays ago... I was thinking hard about what I should get myself.   I think a NYQUIST jersey is in order.  S-T-A-T.

Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

Christmas is like 8 months ago, I think I'll treat myself early this year!

The kid is playing some unreal hockey.  Tatar/Sheahan/Jurco line has been great as well.  Amazing to think that this team, with Datsyuk and Zetterberg in the lineup a few months ago, was on the outside looking in... and now they're holding on to that top wildcard spot without their best 2 players.  The future is now.

Will someone post the greased up Nyquist gif here?

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

And he doesn't disappoint.

They've yet to coin a phrase that accurately describes how much I appreciate Gustav Nyquist

My only concern is that he's setting people up for unrealistic expectations. He's probably not going to shoot 20% long term so he won't score quite as much.

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle... Ogie Ogilthorpe!

You might be right.. but, on the other hand, what if he does? D:

You're possibly right. But on the other hand, we all knew he would be good. And he's scoring in so many different ways (unlike someone like Brunner) that it's also unlikely he'll he shut down often. He's so well rounded.

I think we can fairly expect 25 goals a season from him, at least. Entirely possible he scores 30 most years, too.

But I do worry about that sophomore slump year.
