The forward lines are just so meh to look at and they play like they look. 1st line has no speed, 2nd line has no chemistry, 3rd will more than likely be the best line by far, 4th line is just scraps. For some reason anywhere u put weiss he makes the line worse. Really needs to pull his head out of his ass before hes banished to the 4th line for good when helmer gets back. If Jimmy has another game letting in 4 or 5 goals, then he needs to sit out a good week or so and just let Monster play during that time. I suspect Jimmy will have a good game tomorrow night, but in the event that he doesn't, we need to roll with Monster. Also, I HATE it when Franzen plays with Pavel. I would really like to see: Nyquist- Datsyuk- Alfie Franzen- Weiss- Tatar Abby-Anderson-Bert (not the greatest 3rd line, but they can be decent enough until we get the regulars all back) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Weiss did not play well on the wing. Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Bert Franzen-Helm-Nyquist Alfredsson-Andersson-Tatar Miller-Weiss-Abdelkader If Weiss gets his head out of his bottom we could switch him and Helm and have a fantastic 4th line and still hopefully a working 2nd line. I'm sick of him dragging down our top 6 Miller-Andersson-Bertuzzi big bodies that can grind teams down. Pretty slow though. Bert needs to adapt to this role and be effective or he can retire. Actually he is our best or second best faceoff guy I believe? I thought he is at like 68% or something I could be wrong but I thought they said that bin the last broadcast. I'm kind of interested if its accurate. But the eyeball test...I'm sick of being on the pp in the opposing zone and losing the faceoff(franzen) then they ice they puck. I remember it happened two nor three times on one pp alone last game. So he might be worth putting out there just to win face offs then change...or go to front of net. And given the fact we have a bunch of d all ready. Ideally I want to keep him with oullete until they both can be up together hopefully the year after next. Maybe next if we see Quincey and kindl go.
