Quiet; Coach's Corner is on.

With this simple post in for every game...

A win. each. time.

Glad I could do my part for the cause.

Congratulations to the entire Team Canada organization, especially the management side.

You are just that good!

I was just reading that the Swedes will have no celebration at home, gotta get back to NHL hockey and real work. I hope Babs skips the ticker-tape parade in Canada and gets back here... to real work.

Congratulations Canada, as much as I hate to see you win you were clearly the better team today.

I am very impressed by Canada's team defense, they don't give up an inch and Price barely had to break a sweat in the semis and final.

It's too bad that we lost three of our top6 players beforehand and then Bäckström just before the game, we need everyone healthy if we are going to give Canada a good fight. Even then I think we only win 1-2 out of 10 games maybe but it would've at least been a closer and better game. We all know how the Zetterbeard thrives on games like these for example.

Team Canada's play was some of the best and most dominant hockey I've ever witnessed. Congratulations to Gudlevskis, Quick and Lundquist for keeping their teams in these games; some of the best goaltending I've ever seen. Shoutout to Finland and Latvia for the great team efforts.

Could care less if NHL players don't play in the Olympics again.

Unless the games are in North America, you can't watch any of them live without quitting your job. And the primetime evening coverage doesn't show re-runs of hockey. They only had one channel showing the evening coverage when most people have returned from their workdays.

One the bright side, I got to see plenty of figure skating and women in khaki pants doing stupid stunts on a snowboard. :sleepy:

No offense to Babcock, but this team had Ken Hitchcock's fingerprints all over it.

Pretty good argument for the World Cup to replace it? Round robin and qualification games could be held in two groups, each on both sides of the Atlantic. Medal round would be alternated between NA and Euro hosts each tournament.
