I think it's safe to say that every game is "big" the rest of the way. This game is obviously huge though. But we could use some help tonight from other teams as well. I'm also rooting for these guys.. Islanders, Blackhawks, Sharks, Pens, Panthers & Predators. Not much to ask for eh?

As per NHL.COM, Cleary is in for Bert. Babs you are a ******* idiot if this is true.

Justin Abdelkader - Darren Helm - Daniel Alfredsson

Tomas Tatar - Riley Sheahan - Tomas Jurco

Drew Miller - Joakim Andersson - Gustav Nyquist

What does Nyquist have to do to get some respect? Scores the game winner and plays hard last game and he gets 4th line duty to start again. Meanwhile Cleary hasn't played in forever and has done nothing in recent memory to garner playing on the 1st line. Babs is probably just trying to be fair to some of the older guys before he benches them again during the playoff push.

The obvious choice to me was to have Glendening in on the bottom line and Nyquist on 1st line.

I don't really understand how people still get upset/surprised with Babcock's lines. He has done this kind of stuff for years.

Yesterday lines started with Bert on line 1 and Nyquist on line 4 yet guess who played more? Nyquist. Who played in more key situations? Nyquist.

Things are not always as they seem...

Yeah people get too caught up in labels.

Babs shouldn't really use the line "we are going to dress the best players" if he's going to roll out Bertuzzi and Cleary in a playoff race. Eaves is superior to both and still can't find his way into the lineup consistently. Bertuzzi got a gift-wrapped goal, but otherwise was slow and ineffective. Cleary will be no different, likely worse.

People get upset with Babs because it does continue to happen. Stupidity is still stupidity even if you keep repeating the mistake and just accept that's the way he is.
