LGW!  4-1.  Time to start scoring.

"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."
Vince Lombardi

When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”

This is a huge divisional game for both teams.  Ottawa is just 3 points behind with the same number of games played.

I saw Gustavsson is getting the start, and with the Olympic break I forgot he's even on the team. Yeah, I know it's weird.

I think it's safe to say that every game is "big" the rest of the way. This game is obviously huge though. But we could use some help tonight from other teams as well. I'm also rooting for these guys.. Islanders, Blackhawks, Sharks, Pens, Panthers & Predators. Not much to ask for eh?

Gotta be Eaves going in for Bert. Danny will only hinder a line. Gus has been dependable, needs to continue. LGW!

Funny gif but I don't see how it applies to anything. lol

Now if it was something falling down as opposed to standing up it might make sense after your Danny comment.

LGW!

And also,

@Proteautype: Sean Avery to compete on Dancing With The Stars. His strategy: standing in front of other dancers and waving his shoes in their face.

I'm so watching that.

What does Nyquist have to do to get some respect? Scores the game winner and plays hard last game and he gets 4th line duty to start again. Meanwhile Cleary hasn't played in forever and has done nothing in recent memory to garner playing on the 1st line. Babs is probably just trying to be fair to some of the older guys before he benches them again during the playoff push.

The obvious choice to me was to have Glendening in on the bottom line and Nyquist on 1st line.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

I don't really understand how people still get upset/surprised with Babcock's lines.  He has done this kind of stuff for years.

Yesterday lines started with Bert on line 1 and Nyquist on line 4 yet guess who played more? Nyquist. Who played in more key situations? Nyquist.

Things are not always as they seem...
