When he competes no one complains. Because at the end of the day, a fast skating, physical 6'3 winger with a lethal shot sounds great. The problem in years past is Franzen would glide most nights and depend on his shot alone, when he's been healthy this year he's been the Mule of 06-09. Great for us, we need him to make the playoffs.

The exciting thing about Franzen is that this is the longest streak of excellence in years. Since his mysterious injury in October he's been nothing short of phenomenal, consistently.

With Z out, Franzen will matter more than ever. As long as we dont have our inevitable let down game, we could be in good shape, even without Z.
