well its offical , we stood pat again. The Wings need to do some overhauling in the off season and im sure Kenny will. Im sort of glad he didnt sell the school to get Kesler but I would have thought he could have gotten Legwand. Im for having him here for longer, if Weiss comes good Legwand can anchor the 3rd line and leave the euro twins on the top line. Helm worries me, either he is pure unlucky or he's made of glass. Well we will need a superhuman effort to make it 23 years straight now, or is Kennys plan to bomb and have a chance at that lottery draft pick?

I wasn't thrilled with any of the available D, especially not for the reported asking prices. I'm not surprised no D.

Legwand wouldn't be here without the injuries and confirms that there is a definite push to make the playoffs. Of the rentals who were moved, he's probably the easiest for the Wings to extend.

If we really do have Legwand, he's a big help. Not what we were expecting a few days ago, but this healthy lineup:

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Franzen

Alfredsson-Legwand-Nyquist

Abdelkader-Weiss-Tatar

Miller-Helm-Sheahan (Can he play wing?)

(Rotate centers however you like)
