Hmmm, didn't see this one coming.  Also don't know why it happened.

On National Pancake day no less!

Ducks must be making a move and clearing space because Penner's had a good year for them.

People seem to think Anaheim is making a hard push for Vanek.

adjective

          1. When your moves are so amazing and beyond reason, the only way to describe them is "datsyukian."

Yeah. Totally out of nowhere. I thought Penner was a permanent fixture in Cali, you know, like surfing and wine.

According to Lebrun, they're still making moves.  Though on days like this I don't fully believe it until it's official official.

Anaheim Ducks are indeed acquiring Stephane Robidas from the Dallas Stars. ... not official yet though

I know he's been an underachiever and I don't know his stats but 4th rounder for penner doesn't sound like a lot ... Too bad he's lazy he's got the size to make an impact In the playoffs

If the Ducks are in on Vanek then I no longer understand the Ryan deal.  Gotta be something else.

Well, the Ryan deal maybe involved more than actual hockey. Didn't he have issues with management or something?

Yeah, because they'd been dangling him on the trade market for like two years and he didn't know why.  The fact that they wanted to trade him was the source of that animosity.

Penner will be back on the left-coast as soon as the season is over.

Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

Keep in mind the Ducks are also a strict budget team so I highly doubt Murray can go after Vanek or Kesler. Maybe someone like Moulding but where does he fit?
