Poile doesn't have ties here, a house here...

No, but Legwand does. Poile just took Kenny out to the woodshed.

He's a Freaking UFA...What should we have traded for two months of, at best, a 2nd line center?!! Hemsky went for a third and a fifth, Penner for a 4th, etc..

almost any center including Legwand can play wing. Most of the wings cannot play center. And we need a center now! Is this so difficult to get?

Sweet. This dude was brought here for one reason, to punch people in the head - every other thing that he can do, other Wings can do better. I like that we have a head-puncher. The league has other, better head-punchers, but this one is ours. Better than nothing. Good work, Kenny!

If Jarnkrok is indeed leaving for Sweden it's a good deal. Otherwise I stay pissed. I hadn't heard anything about him leaving until today honestly.

Why does that matter lol

I'm no CBA expert but could Chris Ilitch still veto the trade?

But what I'm saying is Legwand may have wanted to come here, but he didn't pick the players.

If it's true that Jarnkrok is 99.99% likely to jet back to Sweden, than I feel a bit better.

But I swear, if I see one damn game with him in a Predators jersey....

So he's going to tear his groin his first few practices and have it linger all year?

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle... Ogie Ogilthorpe!

McKenzie on TSN is agreeing with what Malik was saying about Jarnkrok and Brynas. Apparently he's preparing to go back to SEL next season, interesting if true.

I can picture f***in Bert, Legwand, and Cleary laughing it up on a line together. FML.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Everyone keeps saying Legwand is declining. His stats are remarkably consistent, and the last few years he's been right at about 50 points each time. This year he should crack it again.

Yea...its very difficult. Unless Jarnkrok was trying to be Radulov...i would rather us miss the playoffs and keep Jarnkrok than trade him for a pittance. Its not worth losing a guy like that to try to make the playoffs without Z, Pav, possibly Helm now and all our other daily injuries.
