Great news. I'm assuming he takes Bertuzzi's spot.

I'm happy with Legwand, but I really would have liked to seen Jarnkrok with the big club at least once or twice before trading him away.

Let's hope pulkkinen gets a hat trick and shows he can play so we don't trade him in the off season

Wonder if he'll play tomorrow instead of Bert since it's back to back.

Hope he gets a chance and does well.

Looks like it's doubtful of him playing tonight, but I could see him playing the next game since it's back to back

Sounds like Alfie might be having some dental issues (not confirmed yet but awaiting further news)

Your really telling me alfy can't go now too?? Man oh man this team is hurting. I'm really starting to question the whole training staff. I find it hard to believe a premier nhl player can't get good dental work and be ready for a game. It's not an injury he lost a few teeth

Sadly awesome to watch him skating around picking up his chicklets off the ice looking like my 3 yr old walking around picking up her M&Ms off the kitchen floor.

Way to take one for the team, Alf.

Not to delve into hyperbole, but Wings fan should be more excited this wasn't the prospect traded yesterday.  Besides Mantha, he's the only guy who projects as an above-average goal scorer we have in the farm system at the moment.  Unlike Järnkrok, he's just adjusted beautifully to the North American style of play.  Hes been one of the Griffins best guys all year, and he loves to shoot.  Reading scouting reports about his shot is fun - you should all try it some time.  Names like "Kurri" and "Hull" are mentioned more than once.

I hope he plays soon.  I'm a big, big fan of his.  Go get em, kid.

I think he is up just in case someone can't go tonight. I really hope he gets in though. I wanna see on him on the point on the PP at least.

Hurry! Someone trip Bertuzzi down some steps.

I hope he plays. Let's go balls out, so to speak. All the firepower we have should be up. Vets experience will be needed in tghe playoffs but right now if a player can score, they should play.

Good. Play him asap. In fact, once Mantha, AA, and nastisauk's seasons are over in junior, bring them to Detroit for a bit as well.

doesn't look like he's in tonight either. Kindl for Lash and Monster for Jimmy.

Hopefully they'll give him a shot against the Rangers on Sunday.

"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop

"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
