I honestly believe that we already have our own Shea Weber...Ryan Sproul.

He's got a long way to go if that's his goal. Not that I don't like Sproul, but Weber's pretty much one of a kind.

A weak Canadian dollar has repercussions throughout the league. Here's why...

And included in the top 3 are almost always Toronto and Montreal.

Here's the source of the quote and a good read to understand Nashville's place in regards to profit sharing and how they're affected.

Ahh I see that makes sense. Thanks for sharing.

Robb, yes Sproul may be a good one in a few years. That is part of the problem. Watching Sproul play one quickly relizes he needs another year-maybe 2 in the minors. That means it will be 3-5 years before he is fully adjusted to NHL life. By that time kronwall could be gone. he is 33 now and will be 36-38 by the time Sproul is up to speed. In other words, treading water. Sproul may be nothing more than a replacement, not improvement. We need help now.

For the next 2 years I would love to see Oullett and Sproul play every game and every shift as a D pair in GR. Grow together. That way when Kornwall and E and done those 2 are ready to step in as the second pair.

About 8 million a year and Nashville to lose their freaking minds. Or maybe a scandal of some kind.

Weber played well with Lids (who no longer plays for us) during that one Allstar game. WE MUST GET HIM

Once every four years, Babcock tells him to do stuff. He looks at Mike and says, “your neck has gotten longer!!!"

That about as close as we’ll ever come to seeing Weber in Detroit.

But if we trade Datsyuk, Z, and Kronners, we can have him...

Shea Weber wasn't playing like Shea Weber when he was Sproul's age. I do think Sproul is the closest thing many teams have to a Weber clone. I just don't know if he will develop fast enough to help Z and Dats. If we want the real thing - its going to cost us a first born son, 10 bulls, 1000 chickens, and the theoretical rights to play don't stop believin' at the end of games. That is a price we can't afford.

This is the same GM that pried Jarnkrok, 3rd, Eaves out of us for a 33 UFA Legwand who would only waive to go to detroit...

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

Exactly - you add to my point. He is bending GMs over all over the place. Holland should steer clear of this crafty guy.
