GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted April 7, 2015 Every team in the West is rooting for LA to miss the playoffs. They can win any series in any position. Starting on the road, down 3-0, etc. Not a team you want to face.
rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Ugh, looks like Abby, Cole or Pav won't be in tonight.... Gut Check time...AGAIN! Pav is expected to take warmups and be a game time decision. If he plays, Cleary is expected to sit and Ferraro in. Edited April 7, 2015 by rrasco

themcityblues 249 Report post Posted April 8, 2015 Damn, that's a crazy high %, considering this team is quite capable of losing both games. I guess it's the fact that they can lose both games and still squeeze in. It's not even that bad that Pittsburgh beat Ottawa. The Penguins are like... finished. Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted April 8, 2015 The "magic number" is 2. Any combination of 2 points gained by Detroit, or points lost by Ottawa, and we're in. So, unless my math (and tie breaking understanding) is wrong, the breakdown of all possibilities would be this...

Of course if we lose the next game and Ottawa wins, then those percentages wildly jump down by about 50%.

No sweat. Washington is going to spank the Bruins. Those dumb ass gorillas from Beantown can't stop taking penalties... and Washington has this guy on the powerplay. 1 HadThomasVokounOnFortSt reacted to this

joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) Between the Bruins, Pens and Wings, one will miss the playoffs if the Sens were to make it. We have to get two points one way or another in the next to games to clinch or If the Sens lose one of their last two games Edited April 8, 2015 by joesuffP

derblaueClaus 1,668 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 So capitals win and we are in or not yet? Nope, not yet. We still need two points of the last two games, or Ottawa dropping two,Boston only getting three (of their last three) and Pens only getting one. But our chances for third place are increased if the Caps win tonight. 1 chaps80 reacted to this
