Really? The Penguins had one great chance off a bad turnover. Other than that, the Wings are moving the puck, they scored, and they're playing solid defense. I've seen far, far worse.

Maybe it just seems worse because of the high end talent Pittsburgh could spring loose at any minute, but in reality I think they're doing really good.

Exactly, any period we keep Crosby, Neal, Kunitz and Malkin off the score sheet is a well played period. To come off with a lead makes it that much better.

I'm not hating on the team. I'm happy to be up by one. I don't honestly believe it was literally the sloppiest period we've ever played. But it was really ugly. I'll certainly take the lead going into the second period. But it was ugly. (Which is understandable. I'm not holding it against them, given that this is the Penguins vs. the Griffins.) That's all I'm saying.
