A lot of Debbie Downers in here.  What's that thing Babcock always says? Choose your attitude. (yeah i went there)

Let's keep this ship turned around and have some more guys continue to step up.

I can't remember the last season I was this emotionally invested in so many regular season games. Loving it. (whether I have any hair/nails left or not)

"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."
Vince Lombardi

When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”

Regarding tonight's game, via offical DRWs Facebook page.

"We know tonight...the other team is gonna have more skill than us. So what? Skill doesn't win, teams win. So let's just get out there and do what we have to do." - Mike Babcock

Babcock says a lot of things.  Mostly inaccurate ..  always meant to motivate.

Hopefully we run into a disinterested penguins team. Just getting a point would be huge here. Franzen has been brooding for a while he's due for an explosive game

Jimmy Howard THIS is your time to step up and be the f$&@ing man. The top 4 left in my mind going to have to show up to score goals are Goose, Tatar, Alfie & Mule. Please steal this game
....Ladies and Gentlemen Jimmy "F%$*ing" Howard.

If the shoe fits.  Sorry dude, I'm sure you love her and everything, but we've all got to make sacrifices in a season this trying.

Personally, I think the bigger foul on the original was getting jerseys with your own name on it.

I hear ya there. I may not be too optimistic, but doesn't mean I'm not cheering like crazy. Almost broke the arm off my computer chair when Alfie scored against the Leafs  Last time that happened was the 08 finals.

Gonna be a hard one tonight, but f*** the Penguins, what better team to beat and get a streak going then these assholes.

Hahahaha it is funny, because it was our hate for each others team what we had in common once we met.

The Pens better look like this   pittsburg-pens-smiley-emoticon.gif  after the game!

Choices must be made my friend......

But then again who am I to talk? I am dating a Blackhawks fan...yes sometimes I look to the sky and cry WHY!!!!!

I won't judge, I'm one of those assholes who enjoy the Blackhawks. Though I think Kane is a turd. But Toews is my fav non Wing player. I am now prepared to receive a lot of hate.

I have to be at a band concert, but I should be home in time for the second. I have the dvr set, and I'm really hoping NHL net uses the FSD feed, but based on past experience, I'm not hopeful. A shame, since Steigerwalt and Errey on Root frequently make Eddie Olczyk seem like the paragon of broadcasting professionalism by comparison. Such a disservice to what Lange used to do on the Pens broadcasts back in the 90's.

I'm hoping the Wings find a way to eke out a win, but even one point would seem like a moral victory. I just pray the boys don't have anyone else go on the IR.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

I thought Neal was hurt for them

No, Neal returned to the lineup for them against Dallas on Tuesday and is playing tonight as well. He was injured, but he's back.

Nothing brings folks together more than unyielding hatred.  You're a lucky man.

GMRwings:  "Well, in other civilized countries, 16 years old isn't considered underage.  For instance, I believe the age of consent is 16 in Canada.  There's some US states where it's 16 as well.

Get off the high horse.  Not like she was 10."

"Some girls are 17 even though they look 25."

Don't worry, we will never stoop to getting our own names on jerseys. At least I won't!

I don't care if it is 1-0 or 8-7, find a way to win somehow!

You HAD to choose 87.. really? haha we're doomed! jinx!

Sure we may get scored on 4 or 5 times in this game. But with MAF in their net, there is also a chance we can score that many as well.
