We really need to figure out how to hold a lead. The Avs are something like 30-0-2 when leading after two periods. Point being, youth and inexperience is not an excuse.

I thought helm was back today?

Game-time decision.

I think Smith is playing with Kronwall, if not I have to question the logic of the coaching staff after the 2 had a dynamite game against the leagues best offense. Eh whatever

Kahn has Smith on D with Kronwall, 4th line skated Emmerton and Helm with Ferraro or Pulk.

Helm should be higher than the fourth line...that's weird.

Also, just saw Columbus lost last night. A win today would let us leapfrog them with games played even. That gives us a much needed edge.

Agreed. I just figure they are taking it easy where it's his first game back after a concussion, and that they are trying not to mess with other lines that have been clicking until he gets some game time in.

Didn't realize that this was a 2pm start. Had I not seen the GDT, I would have missed this one. Why so early on a Saturday?

He's barely played this year and hasn't been able to stay on the ice when he has tried to play. They're not even sure he's going yet.

This is a game where we would normally lay an egg. Just had a huge win, afternoon game. Let's see if this team is serious about a playoff push.

LET'S GO WINGS!

LET'S GO BLUES!

LET'S GO PENS!

LET'S GO HABS!

LET's GO SHARKS!

Not sure who to root for in the NJ vs NYR game. I want another team to lose hope for the last spot in the playoffs (NJ) but we dont need a team like NYR to get more points.

Also, I really like the Wild's top six. Imagine if they re-sign Moulson and add Vanek.

I was actually gonna mention that. Aside from Cooke, I actually like the current Wild team.

I would rather NJ beat NYR

Statistically we're better off if NY wins.

A New Jersey win in regulation drops our playoff chances by 0.2% an OT or shootout win for them drops our chances by 1.5%

A Rangers win in OT or Shootout drops our chances by 0.6% but a Rangers win in regulation improves our odds by 1.0%
