Franzen only made contact because he got knocked into the goalie. Disagree all you want, Lord know I do, but don't act like this. It creates a combative atmosphere that has a tendency to spiral out of control. roboturner 562 Report post Posted March 22, 2014 Don't be stupid. The call was incorrect but I can see why it was missed. Plenty of stuff worse than that in this game alone. That being said, the only reason it was called back was because of the score. Again, it is indeed possible for an average goalie to make nice, above average saves. He lets in A LOT of bad/poorly timed goals (in addition to his lack of puck playing ability and rebound control). And when you don't ignore half the information, we arrive at.....Howard Is AVERAGE!!!
